Picking Up BBQ Supplies for Cheap... Try the Dollar Tree!

It's March and it still is not consistently 60 degrees yet; however, we're more excited than ever for the upcoming Spring grilling season. This is the time of year that we stock supplies and go bargain hunting to prepare for the upcoming cookouts and birthday parties. 

A friend recently recommended Dollar Tree. I haven't been there in ages and figured it was just full of cheap junk that no one actually needs. Well, I stand corrected, at least partially. The Dollar Tree does indeed have a lot of junk, but it also has several key staples that everyone can use on a budget. 

Here's a list of items that we found... note, the Dollar Tree is not the dollar store anymore... it is now the $1.25 store. Regardless, there are many gems you can pick up when on a budget:

  • Paper Plates
  • Napkins
  • Reynolds Wrap Foil
  • Plastic Cups
  • Condiments:
    • Ketchup
    • Mustard
    • BBQ Sauce
    • Mayo
    • They also have other staples like rice and beans, and PB&J
  • Disposable Pans
If you have Dollar Tree near by, certainly don't sleep on it. Check one out today and see what great picks you can find.
